Aisha Jamila is an American actress best known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting providing outstanding performances on television series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. As of 2005 she received attention in the first place for her portrayal of Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 But it was her role as feminist activist Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally made her an actor. Hind was also praised for the role she played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will continue for an additional season. Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is set to be released by the middle of 2019. He's also the son Amitabh Bachchan.
