Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on October 1, 1996. She is a well-known actress for Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations which she's taken up. When she made her debut, she was only nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni In 1988 she starred as the main character in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo, and was one of the actors in The Church directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon was the following year and Asia was Nanni's daughter. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. This was when Asia's career started to grow, and she moved from girlish roles to more mature and complicated roles. Cannes International Film Festival received the film with great awe. She worked with her father for the very first time in Trauma an award-winning film by Italian director of horror, Dario Argento. Her mother, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favorite actress and she played an anorexic seeking to locate the killer of her parents. Asia's intense and absorbed acting style was used to great effect in the film Condannato a nozze. The role she played as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was a difficult and intricate role, which earned her the David di Donatello award for best actress. She had a feature part on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995, she collaborated along with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio and won the title of David di Donatello. Asia's first short film was a scene from the De Generazione movie. Two years following, Asia became a director and made two more films. One of them was AbelAsia a tribute to her dad. Asia began her career as a filmmaker in 1999 with Scarlet Diva. The film was also the main screenwriter and actor. The film debuted in the month of May in Italy and the rest of the world. The film was awarded the Brooklyn's special prize at the Williamsburg festival of film.
